Prayer sought for in the writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2023 for demolishing the unauthorised compound construction put up by the 2nd respondent in R.S.No. 158/6 and 158/7, Kottuchery Village, Karaikal District, Puducherry, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has made representation to the respondent-authorities on 12.08.2023, but no action has been taken by the respondents till date, hence he filed the present writ petition seeking directions to the respondents.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) appearing for the 1st respondent has submitted that the respondent will consider the representation dated 12.08.2023 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a time as stipulated by this Court.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties and considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2023, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunities to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner and the 2nd respondent to submit the additional documents, if any to the authorities concerned.

4. With the above directions, these writ petition stands disposed of . No costs.
