The petitioner/A1 seeks bail in Crime No.205 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w 7(i)a(ii) of E.C Act, 1955. The petitioner had been taken into custody on 06.11.2023. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that A2, had been granted bail by the Judicial Magistrate, Krishnagiri. 3.It is the case of the prosecution that they intercepted a TATA Sumo car bearing Regn.No.TN-25-H-9127 with 1100 kgs of PDS rice. A2 was the driver, who was arrested and subsequently released on bail. 4.It is a specific case of the respondent that it is the petitioner herein who is the owner of the vehicle and owner of the PDS rice and A3 is also been in custody.

5.Taking into consideration all these facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
