ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 2 nd respondent to conduct enquiry again as per petitioner application bearing No.2024/ 0123/ 05/ 004376 dated 15.07.2024 and consequently direct the 3 rd respondent to survey the subject mentioned property and mark boundaries within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner approached the 2 nd respondent to survey the petitioner's land with the help of the rd respondent and submitted his application on 15.07.2024 and paid the prescribed fees. Thereafter, the petitioner received a notice dated 25.10.2024 stating that the survey would take place on 09.11.2024 and thereby requesting the petitioner to appear in person. However, till date no such survey has been conducted by the 3 rd respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2024 will be considered and disposed of within a period of four weeks. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of

the case, this Court directs the 2 nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2024 and complete the survey and fix the boundaries after issuing due notice to the concerned parties, if any. It is needless to state that, if there is any obstruction, the 2 nd respondent shall complete the process with the aid of the Police. Such exercise shall be done by the 2 nd respondent within a period of four weeks from today.

7.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
