The wife has filed the above transfer petition seeking to transfer OP.No.2911 of 2023 pending on the file of the IV Additional Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Sub Court, Tambaram.

2. The petitioner would submit that she is employed as a Lecturer in Sairam Engineering College, Tambaram and is residing at her father's house at Tambaram. The petitioner's daughter is a school going child. OP.No.2911 of 2023 is pending on the file of the Family Court, Chennai as a result of which the petitioner has to attend each and every hearings, which she finds very difficult as she has to travel from Tambaram to the Family Court, Chennai. The respondent has not taken steps to maintain the child or the wife. The transfer is sought to the Sub Court, Tambaram, where the presence of both parties are not required and it would not cause any prejudice to the husband. 2/5

Considering the above facts, the request of the petitioner for seeking transfer appears to be reasonable and considering the fact that no serious objection has been expressed by the husband in the form of counter or otherwise, the transfer petition is allowed.
