The petitioner herein had made a representation to the respondents 2 and 4 seeking for fixing his date of joining as 12.03.2012 in the combined seniority list issued on 23.03.2017 and also for revision of seniority list. Since his representation was not considered in time, he has filed this writ petition seeking for disposal of his representation in this regard.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader placed reliance on the counter affidavit and submits that the petitioner has filed an appeal on 14.06.2017 before Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration, which was 2/4

under consideration in the year 2019. While the petitioner had parallely preferred an appeal before the Government, consideration of the present prayer in this writ petition would not be appropriate. However, if the concerned respondent is directed to consider the appeal and pass orders within the stipulated time, ends of justice could be served.

3. In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 14.06.2017 and pass final orders, if not already passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.01.2023 Index: Yes/ No Speaking Order/Non-speaking Order sr 3/4
