O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings dated 5/10/2017 in Na.Ka.No.1/13300/2017 on the file of the second respondent and further direct the respondents 1 to 4 to pay 40% of the amount in all retirement benefits and other benefits entitled by the fifth respondent to the petitioner and his sisters as agreed by the fifth respondent in the undertaking statement dated 28/11/2016 given before the second respondent in the Page No:2/4
enquiry conducted by the second respondent in respect of the complaint of bigamy against the fifth respondent.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner does not intend to prosecute the Writ Petition, owing to a compromise having been entered into with his father. The petitioner has also sent a written communication to his counsel, advising withdrawal of the Writ Petition. An endorsement to this effect has also been made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in the case bundle.
3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
