..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned assessment of the Annual Value of the property by order dated 29.10.2015 in Notice No.6 New Assessment in I.D.No.09/125/07121/000, on the file of the fifth respondent and the consequential impugned Demand Notice dated 08.08.2017 in I.D.No.09/125/07121/000 on the file of the third respondent, in respect of the petitioner, Door No.1(1) Sullivan Street, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004 and to quash the same.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up today and heard through video conferencing.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that pending Writ Petition, the water tax has been revised and the petitioner is now continuing to pay the revised taxes and does not have grievance over such levy. Hence the petitioner seeks closure of the Writ Petition.
