Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first and second respondent to conduct an enquiry within the stipulated period on the petitioner complaint and dispose the same without any further delay.

This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus directing the first and second respondent to conduct an

enquiry within the stipulated period on the petitioner complaint and dispose the same without any further delay.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner claims that the patta standing in the name of one Ramasamy, since died, has to be cancelled and consequently, to be given in her name. The respondents 4 and 5 are the legal heirs of the said Ramasamy.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the concerned revenue officials to consider and decide. Since it is stated that already an enquiry proceedings is initiated and the same is going on, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry after hearing the petitioner as well as the 4th and 5th respondents and pass orders on the request of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
