Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the Additional District Munsif Court, Tirupattur, to dispose of the pending suit in O.S.No.154 of 2020 within a specified time frame, ideally within three months.

ORDER

This petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.154 of 2020 on the file of the Additional District Munsif, Tirupattur.

2. On 25.11.2024, I called for a report from the learned Additional District Munsif, Tirupattur as to how long he will take to dispose of O.S.No.154 of 2020.

3. The learned Additional District Munsif has sent a report on 06.12.2024, stating that I.A.No.1 of 2022 was filed by the counsel for the plaintiff under Order VI Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure to amend the plaint and the same was allowed on 19.04.2022. However till date, the counsel for the plaintiff has not filed APC, has not carried out the amendment in the 2/4

plaint and has not filed a reply statement for the counterclaim made by the defendants 1 to 6. She also stated that the case is directed to list on 02.01.2025 and if the counsel for the plaintiff files the APC, carries out the amendment in the plaint and files a reply statement for the counterclaim before 02.01.2025, the issues will be framed on that date itself, and the suit will be disposed of within two months upon co-operation of the plaintiff.

4. In the light of the report submitted by the learned Additional District Munsif, Tirupattur, there shall be direction to the learned Judge to dispose of the suit on or before 25.04.2025.

5. With the above directions, this civil revision petition is ordered. No costs.
