Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 02.08.2025 and thereby direct the respondents to measure the property situated in survey No 328/1B to an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents and survey No 328/1D to an extent of 22 cents Karadihalli village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District as per Settlement Deed in document No 1843 / 2014 dated 05.11.2014 on the file of the Sub Registrar office, Karimangalam and erect the mile stones. Order Heard Mr.D.V.Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the following relief:- To issue mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 02.08.2025 and thereby direct the respondents to measure the property situated in survey No 328/1B to an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents and survey No 328/1D to an extent of 22 cents Karadihalli village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District as per Settlement Deed in document No 1843 / 2014 dated 05.11.2014 on the file of the Sub Registrar office, Karimangalam and erect the mile stones. 3 The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and her sister are the absolute owners of the subject property (morefully described in para No.2 of this order); that the petitioner made an application dated 02.08.2025 to the respondents seeking for survey 2/5
and to erect the miles stones, however, as on date, no action has been taken by the respondents with regard to such Application, which necessitated the petitioners to approach this Court by way of present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader for respondents fairly submitted that the application made by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate steps would be taken by the respondent-Authorities within the time, as stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for in this Writ Petition and in view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the applications made by the petitioner dated 02.08.2025 and take suitable steps for conducting a survey in the petitioner's property, measure the same, and demarcate the property by metes and bounds after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. needless to say, in the event, any obstruction is being caused by any third parties, the respondents are at liberty to seek the assistance of the Police Officials, in which case, the concerned Jurisdictional Police is directed to render all possible of assistance, as required, by the Revenue Officials for demarcation of the subject property.
