ORDER
This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the 1st respondent / The District Collector, Kancheepuram District, to dispose of an Appeal dated 16.09.2022, which had been filed under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 challenging the Eviction Notice in Na.Ka.No.1826/2022/A2 dated 03.06.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent / Tahsildar, Uthiramerur, Kancheepuram District.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents and placed an assurance that the Appeal would be disposed of in manner known to law.
3.We are confident that, the District Collector, Kancheepuram, would examine the appeal now pending in his office, after hearing the petitioner if not already heard and after examining the records and dispose of the appeal on or before 31.03.2023. No further directions are required. 4.With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
