The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences Women missing altered into one under Sec.87 of B.N.S. Act in Crime No.219 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that based on the complaint given by one Sampathkumar stating that his wife "xxxx" is missing from 08.11.2024, the respondent police had registered a case in Crime No.219 of 2024 under the caption "woman missing" and they are investigating the case. The petitioner is not an accused as on date, however, he is wanted for the purpose of enquiry.

3. Recording his submissions, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
