It appears that A.P.No.2/2017/C1, dated 20.05.2017 which had been filed on 20.05.2017 is pending on the file of the 1st respondent namely the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE, Mayiladuthurai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction states that the arguments have been completed but that final orders have not been passed.

3. However, Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader for HR & CE Department states that the documents will have to be considered and orders will be passed within a period of two months.

4. Since the matter is pending for nearly 6 months, it is hoped that the final orders would be passed on or before 31.01.2020. According the 1st respondent namely the Joint Commissioner of HR & CE Department, mayiladuthurai is directed to dispose of the case on or before 31.01.2020.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
