ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records and quash the order of rejection vide Ka.No.U.MI.PO/THU.MI.NI/THITTA/VA.U/KO.MANU/ A.NO.234 dated 18.08.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent and further direct the 2nd respondent to dismantle the electricity connection No.1734.

2. The petitioner claims himself to be the owner of the land situated at K.S.R. Nagar, Thozhurthur Main Road, Thittakudi Post, Taluk, Cuddlore District bearing S.No.130/3 and patta was also issued in his name. He had also obtained electricity service connection in his name. Whileso, he made an application before the official respondents for disconnecting the same, however the same was rejected vide impugned order dated 18.08.2025 on the ground that the petitioner's brother, who is the 3rd respondent herein, is running M/s.KSR Saw Mills in the subject property. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. The issue arises in this writ petition has to be decided only by a Page No.2 of 4

competent Civil Court. This Court cannot go into the merits or otherwise the claim made by the petitioner.

4. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to raise all of his grievances as against the 3rd respondent before the appropriate Civil Court. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
