Mr.Arun Danapalan, learned counsel on behalf of Mr.B.R.Prabu, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondent and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission. 1 / 4

2. He states that the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2022 is pending with the respondent for want of certain documents. He assures the Court that the respondent will call upon the petitioner to furnish necessary documents in order that the request of the petitioner for electricity connection to the premises at No.55, North Street, Komal, Thiruthagoor via, Thirunellikaval, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Thiruvarur District ('premises'/'premises in question') be considered expeditiously.

3. Thus mandamus is issued to the sole respondent to call upon the petitioner and seek whatever documents that may be required to process the representation of the petitioner and upon receipt of such document, pass orders on the representation/grant electricity connection as sought for to the premises in question, all within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
