The petitioner herein, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(c) and 4(11/4

A)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024 in Crime No.87 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession 30 litres of ID arrack. Hence, the case. 3.This Court vide order dated 03.07.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.17620 of 2025 dismissed the earlier anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner. Now, once again, the very same submissions had been reiterated before this Court.

4.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and there is no change in circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 18.09.2025 smv 2/4
