Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry regarding the sale deed registered in Document No. 6261/2011, dated 15.06.2011 based on the Circular No.67 of the Inspector General of Registrar and file the report on considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2016.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry regarding the sale deed registered in Document No. 6261/2011, dated 15.06.2011, based on the Circular No.67 of the Inspector General of Registrar and file the report on considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2016.

2. It is pertinent to note that Circular No.67 was withdrawn by the Government as early as in the year 2017. When the Circular No.67 is not in existence, the 1st respondent has no jurisdiction to cancel the registered sale deed dated 15.06.2011. The remedy open to the petitioner is only to file a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Civil Suit. In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
