The petitioner/A1 seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.181 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 353, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 24(1) of COTPA Act, 2003.
2.It is the case of the prosecution that on 18.10.2023, A2 and A3 were found in possession of 53.200 kgs of banned tobacco products. 3.Bail had been granted to A2 and A3 in Crl.O.P.No.27009 of 2023, by order dated 13.12.2023 but however, the allegation as against this petitioner is that he goes to Bangalore and purchase the banned tobacco products and supplies them to the others in the State. 4.Taking into consideration all the factors, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petitions stands dismissed.
