The writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to conclude the enquiry on the petitioner appeal dated 03.10.2023, filed against the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Pa.MuA2/0051/2022 dated 08.09.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a stipulated time.
3. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 03.10.2023 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.
4. Taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the 2/5
case, this Court directs the 1st respondent to issue notice to the appellants and respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing both the parties, dispose of the appeal dated 03.10.2023, filed by the petitioner against the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Pa.Mu.A2/0051/2022 dated 08.09.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
