O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide armed police protection to the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is an accused in nearly ten cases as such the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in so many cases and he is now seeking police protection. As such the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and this writ petition is devoid of merits. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
