Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the 2nd respondent to survey and put up a boundary stone to the property situated in S.No.26/3B to an extent of 61 Ares or 1.50 Acres, in Sirunagar Village Account, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. O R D E R

The above Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to survey and put up a boundary stone to the property situate in S.No.26/3B to an extent of 61 Ares or 1.50 Acres, in Sirunagar Village Account, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite making the representations on 20.07.2024 and 25.07.2024, the 2nd respondent has not taken any steps to survey the land in question.

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations and conduct survey of the subject property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property and the 2nd respondent shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and 2/4

interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
