O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for "simplicitor mandamus", to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2023 and her Online application dated 31.10.2023 within such time that may be fixed by this Court.

The brief facts leading to filing of the Writ Petition is that the petitioner's father executed a Settlement Deed in favour of the petitioner herein and her sisters, thereby, Survey Nos.143/2, 143/1E1 and 145/4C to an extent of about 1 acre 50 1⁄2 cents located in Azhagapuram Village, Aandimadam Taluk, Ariyalur District was allotted to the petitioner vide Doc.No.547/2011 registered under the Sub-Registrar Office, Aandimadam on 06.01.2011, and from the said date onwards she was in possession and enjoyment of the said property. Though the lands in above survey numbers were settled in favour of the petitioner, still the Patta was not changed in her name and it was standing in the name of her grandfather namely one Mr. Dhandeshwara Iyer. Therefore, the petitioner Page No.2 of 5

approached the second respondent by submitting the representation dated 11.03.2023, but, no response was received from the second respondent. Therefore, again the petitioner submitted an Online application on 31.10.2023 for issuing Patta in her name. Since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition before this Court for the above said relief.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner submitted the representation dated 11.03.2021 and filed an Online application dated 31.10.2023 for grant of Patta, still they are kept pending by the respondents. Since the respondents have not taken any action on the complaint on the procedures, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2023 and Online application dated 31.10.2023 and the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the rival Page No.3 of 5

claimants/ interested parties, if any, and conduct an enquiry in a manner known to law and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
