O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehending life threat and due to anonymous call made by unidentified persons, had given representation to the police on 21.04.2023 and seeks for police protection, since police has not taken any action.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that the FIR has been registered in Crime No.397 of 2023 on 14.12.2023 under Section 448 of IPC and the matter is under investigation.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is one of the witness associated in Bomb Blast Case investigated by the CBCID police in Crime N.3 of 2023 and he needs adequate police protection.

4. The abovesaid fact has now been taken note of by the respondent-police and necessary protection for the said witness is to be provided as per the Witness Protection Scheme.

5. With the abovesaid observations, the present Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
