O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the representations dated 19.12.2022 and 23.12.2022 of the petitioners to replace and/or rectify the meter for the Electricity Service Connection No.0945600133 installed in the premises situated at No.3/155, Arumanthai Cross Road, Chennai - 600 067, Ponneri Village Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
2. Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel taking notice on behalf of the respondents, submitted that the respondents 1 to 4 would consider the petitioners' representations, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this court. .
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representations made by the petitioners dated 19.12.2022 and 23.12.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
