This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to give police protection to the petitioner enabling the petitioner to erect fencing by the petitioner in the lands comprised in S.No.137/B2, 137/2A, 137/3B, and 137/4B of Rayandapuram Village, Thandavampattu Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

The petitioner seeks police protection to fence his land. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
