This petition is filed to condone the delay of 161 days in filing the C.M.A.SR.No.80299 of 2017 against M.C.O.P.No.4883 of 2015 on the file of MACT (Chief Small Causes Court), Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 161 days is condoned and the petition is ordered. It is made clear that the petitioner shall not be entitled for any interest for the delay period on the enhanced award amount.
