PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed on 16.09.2024 within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 16.09.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the second respondent/society was formed to take control of the village temple situated at T.Kottampatti Village. Challenging the registration of the said association, the petitioner submitted a representation/appeal before the first respondent on 16.09.2024. Pursuant to the said representation of the 2/6

petitioner, the first respondent issued a show cause notice to the second respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3241/A2/2024, dated 25.09.2024. Though the first respondent initiated enquiry on the complaint preferred by the petitioner, till date enquiry has not proceeded and no final orders have been passed. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Mr.G.Ameedius, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the first respondent.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in Na.Ka.No.3241/A2/2024, dated 25.09.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 22.11.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking order:Yes/No ub 4/6
