O R D E R

The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody by the respondent police on 14.07.2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 191(2),191(3), 103(1) of BNS 2023 in Crime No.369 of 2025, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused brutally attacked the son of the defacto complainant and 1/4

caused grievous injuries to him. Due to the said injuries the deceased was succumbed to death. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no specific overt act against the petitioner and he was only present at the scene of occurrence. Hence, prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the complicity of the accused is found in CCTV footage and he is the prime accused and there is specific overt act against him. He further submitted that this petitioner has five previous cases of a similar nature. Hence, vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
