ORDER

Mrs.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader (E) accepts notice on behalf of the Respondents. With consent of the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2025 to give scale of pay as per G.O (ID). No.99 School Education Pa.Ka.4 (1) Department dated 24.07.2025 with all consequential benefits and arrears.

3. The case of the petitioners is that the first petitioner was appointed as a Sweeper and the second petitioner was appointed as an Office Assistant on 22.02.2018, on a contractual basis, in accordance with G.O dated 22.12.2010. Since their appointment, the petitioners have been receiving a consolidated pay. Despite regular posts remaining vacant in the school concerned, they have not been regularized. Therefore, the petitioners submitted a representation dated 08.08.2025 to the respondents to enhance his scale of pay. However, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, this petition is filed for the aforesaid relief. 2/5

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

Taking into consideration, the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 08.08.2025 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits of the petitioner's claim.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
