Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, Directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner online application dated 30.06.2025 in application No. 2025/ 0178/ 35/ 000349 seeking to survey his property situated at No. 137 Madurantakam Town Senguntharpettai Chinna colony comprised in Survey No. 119/3A and 119/3B New Town survey no. 36 and 57 respectively extending to 2 cents i.e.. 872 square feet in accordance with the sale deed dated 7.07.2010 in doc. No. 2566/ 2010 SRO Madurantakam and mutate the revenue records accordingly 1/5

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner online application dated 30.06.2025.

2. Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, initially, the petitioner had purchased the subject property vide sale deed dated 07.07.2010. Thereafter, an online application was filed by the petitioner on 30.06.2025, requesting the respondent to survey the subject property. However, the said application was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition. 2/5

5. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would request this Court to pass appropriate orders directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, initially, the petitioner had purchased the subject property vide sale deed dated 07.07.2010. Thereafter, an online application was filed by the petitioner on 30.06.2025, requesting the respondent to survey the subject property. However, the said application was not at all considered by the respondent till date.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.06.2025 and dispose of the 3/5

same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
