Respondents in all W.P.s COMMON PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certioirarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the letter dated 20.07.2017 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to allocate regional wise reservation of seats MBBS Course for Karaikal, Mahe and Yanem regions and to make a fresh admission of MBBS Course for 2017-18 in the Puducherry Union Territory in the light of judgment in W.P.No.13130 of 2010 dated 06.08.2010 and others passed by Division Bench of this Hon'ble Court.

Pleader (Pondy.) for R1 to R3 C O M M O N O R D E R These writ petitions have been filed challenging the impugned letter dated 20.07.2017 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to allocate regional wise reservation of seats MBBS Course for Karaikal, Mahe and Yanem regions and to make a fresh admission of MBBS Course for 2017-18 in the Puducherry Union Territory respectively in the light of judgment in W.P.No.13130 of 2010 dated 06.08.2010.

2. Today, when the matters taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for petitioners would submit that though the Writ Petitions filed challenging 3/6

the allocation of regional wise reservation of seats MBBS Course, the petitioners have been allotted seats as per regional wise reservation. Hence, the relief claimed in this Writ Petition became infructuous and these Writ Petitions may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. In such view of the matter, as the petitioners have been allotted seats as per regional wise reservation, no further adjudication is required in these Writ Petitions. Accordingly, all these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
