O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Contempt of the order dated 22.12.2022 is complained of by the petitioner.

2. Dr.T.Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the services of the petitioner were regularized with retrospective effect from 01.02.1999 till his date of retirement viz., 28.02.2021 and the difference in salary amounting to Rs.19,07,863/- has been credited to the account of the petitioner on 14.03.2024. The same is not in dispute. However as a consequence of the regularization, the petitioner would be entitled to pension, gratuity and the difference in salary for the Earned Leave that has not been availed by him.

3. The respondent has informed the Special Government Pleader that steps are being taken for disbursal of those amounts also and insofar as the pension is concerned, the petitioner will have to provide a passport size photograph of him together with his wife and an indemnity bond on Rs.50 2/4

stamp paper. Once the petitioner submits those documents, the other benefits would also be released.

4. The statement made is recorded and the contempt is closed with liberty to the petitioner to seek re-opening if there is any delay in disbursal of these amounts.
