Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari calling for the records in the orders bearing G.O.Ms.No.162, Housing and Urban Development (UD4(2)) dated 18.12.2015 (published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Part II Section 2 dated 13.01.2016) and G.O.Ms.No.108, Housing and Urban Development (UD4(2)) dated 20.06.2017 (published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Part II Section 2 dated 19.07.2017) issued by respondent no.2 and quash the same.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the Government Orders under challenge have been withdrawn and, as such, the relief claimed in the writ petition has become infructuous.

2. In the view of that, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.21062 of 2017 is closed.
