The present Application has been filed to extend a further period of six months from the date of passing order in this application in terms of Section 29A(4) to enable the sole Arbitrator to complete the arbitral proceedings.

Heard, Mr.K.Moorthy, learned counsel for the applicant and Ms.Shreya Narayanan, learned counsel for the respondent. 3.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the arbitration proceedings were periodically conducted by the Arbitrator and the evidence of the claimant has been completed. He further submits that the mandate of arbitration prescribed by this Court had expired on 13.11.2022 and hence, seeks a further period of six months. 4.

The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for extension of time.

Considering the fact that the mandate of arbitration had expired on 13.11.2022, a further period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order is granted to conclude the arbitration proceedings. 6.
