Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely, Soundarya, aged about 20 years, before this Court from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and set her at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the petitioner is the father of the detenue, who is aged about 20 years. The police authorities conducted an enquiry and found that the detenue married Mr.N.Kumar on 29.09.2024 and now the detenue and the third respondent are living separately. 2.In view of the fact that the detenue is already aged about 20 years and got married with the third respondent, Mr.N.Kumar, the petitioner is at liberty to meet his daughter, if he is otherwise willing to meet her. 3.With these observations, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
