Respondents Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first and second respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the 2011 panel of Tahsildar as on 30.06.2011 in which petitioner's junior M.Ravichandran acted as Tahsildar and consequently include the name of the petitioner in the panel of Deputy Collector for the year 2015-2016 in which the fourth respondent was promoted as Deputy Collecotr and joined in the post 1/4

on 01.06.2017 based on the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in C.A.No.2251 of 2009 dated 08.04.2009.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the 2011 panel of Tahsildar as on 30.06.2011 and for a consequential relief to include his name in the panel of Deputy Collector for the year 2015-2016.

While issue is pending, this Court by order dated 28.07.2023, directed to pass orders on the representation dated 03.07.2015 submitted to the second and third respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the light of the order dated 28.07.2023 passed by this Court, now, the respondents have passed orders on the representation of the petitioner on 08.09.2023 rejecting the request of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that now the petitioner has to challenge the rejection order of the respondents. 2/4

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

In view of the above factual position and the representation of the petitioner was already rejected by the respondents and it has to be challenged in an appropriate proceedings, in my considered view, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
