This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify the condition in para No.9 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.28177 of 2024 by an order dated 12.11.2024 on the file of this Court.

2. Heard both sides. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner by an order dated 12.11.2024 with certain conditions and to deposit a non refundable amount of Rs.20,000/- to the credit of District Legal Services Authority, Nagapattinam District. However, the petitioner had failed to deposit the amount, thereby, he opposed for modifying the condition.

3. In view of the submission, the condition in para no.9 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.28177 of 2024 on 12.11.2024 is modified as follows:

"9. Accordingly, the petitioner shall make a non refundable deposit of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten

Thousand only) by way of Demand Draft/RTGS/NEFT to the credit of the District Legal Services Authority, Nagapattinam District, and on such deposit and on receipt of proof of payment, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kilvelur, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed and on further conditions that: "

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
