The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner on the complaint said to have been given by one Vimal.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was called twice on summons and thereafter, the respondent has been repeatedly calling the petitioner and made to stay at the police station throughout the day.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondents are conducting preliminary enquiry on the complaint given by the said Vimal and that if the presence of the petitioner is required, summons would be issued.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the view that the respondents shall conduct the preliminary enquiry as expeditiously as possible and then taking into consideration the age of the petitioner, issue summons for his appearance, if it is required.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
