Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing 1st respondent to direct 2nd respondent to consider the representation of petitioner dated 10.11.1990 addressed to Erode Tahsilder and his mother's petition dated 25.01.1985 to cause investigate for issuance of death certificate of late Senkottaiyan, father of the petitioner's late mother who died on 09.10.1990 which is prerequisite for transfer of patta No.1238 of the land at S.No.668 in Nanjai Uthukuli (B) Village of Modakkuruchi Taluk of Erode District in favour of petitioner name based on his legal heir certificate.

ORDER
Mrs.Geetha Tharaiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents and is armed with requisite instructions to enable disposal of this matter. 2.
The prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing the first respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, Erode to consider representation of the petitioner.

Learned Special Government Pleader states that the prayer of the petitioner may not be feasible since the representations dated 25.01.1985 and 10.11.1990 have not been acknowledged by the authorities.

In light of the same, this Court is not in a position to accede to the prayer of the petitioner but would instead grant liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation, which may be disposed by the authorities expeditiously, if and when received. 5.
This writ petition stand closed. No costs.
