Prayer: This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to modify the bail conditions in para 6(iii) that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent/police daily twice at 10.00 a.m., and 05.00 p.m., until further orders (for a minimum period of 30 days) and on further condition that he shall make available himself for interrogation as and when required by the investigation officer; imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem in Crl.M.P.Nos.2819 and 2820 of 2024 dated 28.10.2024. ORDER

These petitions have been filed to modify the bail condition in para 6(iii) that "the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent/police daily twice at 10.00 a.m., and 05.00 p.m., until further orders (for a minimum period of 30 days) and on further condition that he shall make available himself for interrogation as and when required by the investigation officer;" imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.Nos.2819 and 2820 of 2024 dated 28.10.2024 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions regularly and hence, he seeks for modification of the condition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that there are eight previous cases pending as against the petitioner.

4. In view of the above submission, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.Nos.2819 and 2820 of 2024 dated 28.10.2024 is modified 2/4

to that effect that the petitioner is directed to report before the learned Judicial Magistrate - IV, Salem on all working days at 10.30 a.m for a period of four weeks and thereafter, on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

5. With the above directions, these criminal original petitions are ordered.
