This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the case filed against the petitioner in Crime No.399 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Section 296(b), 119(2), 309(4), 311, 70 and 351(3) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the petitioner would submit that final report has been filed before the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, and the case has been taken on file in P.R.C.No.367 of 2025.

3.At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition with liberty to challenge the final report and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
