ORDER

These Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petitions are filed seeking transfer of cases in O.S.No. 253/2015, pending on the file of Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore, T.O.S.No.686 of 2025, pending on the file of Principal District Judge, Coimbatore and S.O.P.No. 154/2015 pending on the file of Principal Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore to the file of City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. The petitioner herein seeks transfer of the above said cases mainly on the ground that she is aged 85 years old, having lot of health issues. It is seen from the records that the above said suits are pending on the file of Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore, Principal District Judge, Coimbatore and Principal Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore. In civil suits, the presence of the petitioner is not at all required for each and every hearing and she can very well engage a lawyer and conduct the case. If the personal appearance of the petitioner is necessary for the purpose of taking evidence, citing the health issues, she can very well request the court to examine herself through Commissioner. In such circumstances, I am not impressed with the reasons given by the petitioner for transfer of the above said cases.

4. Accordingly, Transfer civil miscellaneous petition Nos.1180, 1181 and 1182 of 2025 are dismissed. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Taking into consideration that the civil
