O R D E R

This petition has been filed to transfer the case in H.M.O.P.No.901 of 2019 pending on the file of the Principal Family Court, Madurai to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

2. According to the Petitioner, she finds it very difficult to attend the hearings in H.M.O.P.No.901 of 2019 before the Principal Family Court, Madurai and though the native place of the respondent / husband is Madurai, he is at present residing in Chennai and therefore, no prejudice will be caused to him in transferring the case to Chennai.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. Learned counsel appearing for the Respondent submitted that the Respondent has no objection to transfer the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.901 of 2019 from the file of the Principal Family Court, Madurai to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed, with a direction to the learned Principal Family Court, Madurai to transfer the case in H.M.O.P.No.901 of 2019 to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

order. On such transfer, the Transferee Court, namely, the Principal Family Court Judge, Chennai is directed to take up the case in H.M.O.P.No.901 of 2019 and proceed with the same, without adjourning the matter beyond 30 working days at any point of time and bring the issue to a logical end as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
