This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 08.03.2018 made by the petitioner seeking for re-transfer to Udumalpet.
2. It is seen from records that the petitioner joined Foreman Grade I in the office of Tamil Nadu Generation and
Distribution Corporation Limited, in the year 1993. The petitioner was suspended from service in the year 2016, pending the disciplinary proceeding. Thereafter, the petitioner was transfered to Akaraipalayam and the petitioner claims to have joined duty at Akaraipalayam and he is working there. The petitioner has some domestic problem to attend immediately and therefore, he has given a representation to the first respondent to consider transferring him from Akkaraipalayam to Udumalpet. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.
3. Heard M/s.Saranya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Karthik Rajan, learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this Writ Petition, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent and the first respondent on receipt of the representation shall take a decision in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation from the petitioner.
5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
