..Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner in the light of order dated 09.11.2017 in W.P.(MD) No.1382/2017 and sanction the reimbursement of Rs.1,23,041/- to the petitioner towards medical reimbursement with interest at 9% per annum.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim made by the petitioner seeking for medical reimbursement with interest.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the father of the petitioner had applied for reimbursement of medical bills for an amount of Rs.1,23,041/- and he had submitted all the original bills given by the hospital through Assistant Treasury Officer to the District Collector cum Chairman of Empowered committee,

3. In the meantime, the father of the petitioner died and the petitioner has been following with the respondent for the medical reimbursement. The petitioner has made a representation to the respondents in this regard and since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Heard Mr.P.Murali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.S.Siva Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 06.09.2019 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and take appropriate action within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent along with the copy of the representation dated 06.09.2019 and also the copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
