O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for their wilful disobedience in not complying with the order dated 28.02.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.34425 of 2019.

2. A compliance report has been filed by the respondent. 1/4

However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the notional promotion has been given with effect from 01.10.2014, the petitioner's name has not been included in the panel for promotion to the post of Assistant Registrar for the year 2024-2025. It is submitted that the petitioner's junior has been promoted only by getting herself to be included for the panel year 2024-2025 and including this petitioner for the panel year 2025-2026 can not be in terms of the compliance of this order.

The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the order has been passed in the writ petition to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass a speaking order and if the petitioner is aggrieved with the orders passed, the only remedy available to the petitioner is to challenge the order.

5. Since the order has been complied and a proceeding dated 11.10.2025 has been issued and if the petitioner feels that he is still aggrieved he is at liberty to challenge the order of the respondents dated 11.10.2025 in the manner known to law.

6. In view of the above reasons, the Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
