Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the pension, gratuity, Provident fund, SSBS and other death benefits and the Family pension of the deceased P.Jagadeesan to the petitioner and her minor son J.Kapil.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to disburse the pension, gratuity, Provident Fund, SSBS and other death benefits and the family pension of the deceased P.Jagadeesan to the petitioner and her minor son J.Kapil.

2. This Court by an order dated 12.11.2019 had referred the matter to Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras so as to enable the parties to arrive at an amicable settlement.

3. Report has been submitted by the Mediation Centre by settling the dispute among the parties concerned. Copy of the agreement entered into between the parties is also placed on record. Parties are also present in the Court. The entire contents of the agreement between the parties was read over to the parties and they have stated that they are aware of the said contents.

4. Counsel appearing for the parties submitted that as per clause 4 of the terms and conditions of agreement, the fourth respondent shall execute the release deed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

5. Memo, dated 21.2.2020 filed on behalf of the respondent also placed on record.

6. In view of the above, report submitted by the Mediation Centre is accepted. Writ petition is disposed of in terms of agreement entered into between the parties. The report submitted by the Mediation Centre and the agreement entered into between the parties shall form part of the order. No costs.

Consequently, Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
