Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2024 seeking intervention of illegality committed by the 5th respondent and thereby protect petitioner's right over his property and also to compensate the damages done by the 4th respondent in respect of petitioner's property situate in s.no.124/3a1b, Panaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu district.

The Writ Petition has been filed for the following relief: "To direct respondents 1 to 4 to consider petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2024 seeking 2/6
intervention of illegality committed by the 5th respondent and thereby protect petitioner's right over his property and also to compensate the damages done by the 4th respondent in respect of petitioner's property situate in s.no.124/3a1b, Panaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu district".
2. A counter affidavit has been filed by the Project Director / 5th respondent, wherein they have categorically stated as follows: "9.I submit that no acquisition proceedings have been initiated for property in survey No.124/3A1B. I also submit that no demolition of structures in survey no. 124/3A1B has been carried out by this respondent".
3. They have in paragraph No.7 of the counter affidavit stated that demolition has taken place only in S.No.124/3A2, which is a Government Porambokke Land (Cart Track).

4. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, in order to bring about quietus, the 4th respondent is directed to survey the lands comprised in S.No.124/3A1B and demarcate the same, within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
