The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 6th respondent /Regional Passport Officer to complete and conclude the enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.02.2023.

2. Mr.S.Mukesh, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 6 and 7, would submit that the passport of the 8th respondent had already been impounded, since he could not able to submit the relevant documents. The show-cause notice issued by the 6th respondent was returned with an endorsement stating "no such person resides in the address" given by the 8th respondent. Thus, the passport was impounded and therefore, the grievances of the writ petitioner cannot be gone into at this juncture, since the process of enquiry is pending. The said status regarding the complaint was informed to the petitioner. Thus, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition.
