ORDER

The Revision Petitioner herein is the 2nd respondent in the appeal suit in A.S.No.262 of 2021 on the file of learned Sub-Judge, Alandur, which was filed by the 1st respondent/appellant challenging the judgment and decree passed in the suit in O.S.No. 3169 of 1997.

2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner only seeking a direction for a speedy disposal, the notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for Revision Petitioner would submit that originally the suit was filed in the year of 1997 and thereafter the plaintiff preferred an appeal in the year of 2021. Though it is riped for arguments, so far, the appeal was not yet disposed of. Therefore, he wanted to direct the appellate court to dispose the case as early as possible.

4. On perusal of e-court status, it reveals that now the appeal is riped for arguments and admittedly, the appeal was filed in the year of 2021 and 2/4

the same is pending for more than two years, but so far, there is no progress in the trial. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the appellate judge to commence the trial and dispose the case as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
